Practice Sessions:
Weekly practice will occur on Wednesdays from 3:15 to 5:00 and, when coaches and teams decide, on Sundays from 2:00 to 5:00. There will be work between practices for the research project and preparing for competitions. A Durham Academy faculty member must be present when teams practice.

Sam Last, the NC Head Referee for FIRST LEGO League, created this breakdown, which provides information on building the models. It lists: Model #, Bag #s, Mission #, Build Time, Skill Level, and notes about things to be aware of.
Build the Mission Models
- Sort the LEGO element bags (found in your Challenge Set box) by the number on the bag. They are labeled.
- Match the bag numbers with the corresponding bag numbers below.
- Open the correct PDF files and have an awesome time assembling the models. We strongly recommend opening one set of bags at a time to prevent elements from being mixed up.
- Use Ziplock bags to store elements if you don’t finish or have extras.
